Here are some quick updates about upcoming club activities:
Office Hours
Greg will be sitting by the HUB fishtanks (right near Break Zone and Panda Express) from 12 to 3 tomorrow, Wednesday September 26th. Some people had trouble spotting him before, so he will be wearing a ski club shirt tomorrow and have a small "Ski Club" sign. Feel free to come to office hours to pay dues, sign up for a trip, hand in participation agreements, or clear up any questions you may have about the club!
Trip Earlybird Deadlines
Here's a reminder of the Earlybird Deadlines and Prices for each trip:
Killington: October 12th, $265
Tremblant: October 12th, $575
Sugarloaf: November 16th, $330
Stowe: December 14th, $275
Park City & The Canyons: December 14th, $1,330
Whiteface: February 8th, $255
Remember, to get the cheapest prices on our trips, all you need to do is put down a $100 deposit by the trip's posted Earlybird deadline. If you do plan on going on a trip, you must hand in a participation agreement along with a copy of your insurance card. This is a club sports policy; we cannot allow you on a trip without a participation agreement on file. We're all getting very excited to start the season, and we hope you are too! Trust us, the trips will come sooner than you think.
Hayride
At tomorrow's office hours, all club members have the opportunity to sign up for our Club Hayride, which is coming up on Wednesday, October 10th. The event involves a good old fashion hayride out to a campsite with fire pits, food, beverages, and even live music! The Hayride costs $25, which also includes the bus ride there, so be sure to sign up and have a great time! Fear not if you can't make it tomorrow, there will be other opportunities to sign up.
Forum
Finally, a quick note on members trying to sign up for the Forum. We have had some trouble confirming some signups, but hold tight because we're figuring them out as this email is being written! Only members of the club are allowed to sign up for the forum. Please be sure to either use your PSU ID or your full name when you sign up. This makes it much easier for us to confirm that you are indeed a club member. If you continue to have trouble, please email our webmaster Dylan at dtc5062@gmail.com with any questions you may have.
We hope to see some friendly faces tomorrow at office hours, and hope to see everyone at the next meeting on Tuesday October 9th (more details to come).
